Harper slid down in the chair, sweat pouring down his face. It had only been minutes, but yet he felt like he had been there for hours! His questioner leaned forward and locked eyes with his.
He was getting nervous, and he squirmed in the chair. The tension in the air was thick and Harper's heart pounded in his chest, it's pounding rhythm the only sound aside from his heavy breathing and the breathing of his questioner.
He matched his questioner's stare and the two stared into each other's narrowed eyes for what seemed an eternity before the questioner spoke.
"Harper, why did you kill Walter? He was an innocent plant!"
